It has been few months since we implemented the Safety Jackpot incentive program.Our Employees have looked forward to collecting their game cards each week and their bonus card at the end of the month. This program is currently being run on an individual performance level for lost time days and work related injuries .Staffs have now taken great responsibility in their own safety at work.

The safety jackpot program was implemented to achieve significant reduction in lost time work days and to reduce work related injuries. With the implementation of this program, staffs have been eager to continue working on modified duty when they are injured. Previously staff would rather have been off work completely. This is a reward system that the staff can see the benefits of behavior and reward themselves. Staff have created personal goal s for the reward they would like to choose.

I have strongly recommended this program throughout the various blood regions as a cost reduction factor associated with safety .I can also be used as safety action tool for staff. Staff are more involved in safety process because they want their cards which ultimately helps to achieve the goal of incentive program. I especially love the low cost of the program and easy distribution of rewards.
